My weekend
In the weekend I had my birthday dinner and had blue cod and chips and they were so delicious. With the birthday money I got I brought a Lego set called aviation adventures and it is a blue and yellow plane. It took me 2 and a half hours to build. I also played football and won the game. It was being held in hokitika and we bet the "unbeatable" team by one point.
I also did the main star planting and planted a pea seed and that was easy because you just put in the ground.

Hanmer springs
I went to hanmer springs in the holidays and it was great.
first day:
On the first day we explored the house and the house was awesome!
Second day:
On the second day we went to the famous HOT POOLS and we stayed there for a while before going on a walk up chronicle hill where there was a hidden tui!
Third day:
WORLD CUP FINAL and having pancakes! and then just wandering around.
Fourth day:
Going golfing. I was the catty and carried the golf clubs and got TWO Lego Minecraft!
Last day:
snowball fight and leaving hanmer

Commonwealth games
I think the Commonwealth games are: a sporting event where countries from the commonwealth (British empire) compete for medals that are gold silver and bronze. it is a lot like the Olympic games but only for the commonwealth. this year it is being held in Glasgow and Glasgow is part of the commonwealth.
Some of the sports are:
- Kayaking
- Hockey
- Athletics
- Shot put
- Javelin
- Swimming
- Weight lifting
- Track and field
- Discus
- Archery
- Basketball
- Netball
- And many more!
Other facts I know are: They are being held in Glasgow. They are once every 4 years. New Zealand competes in the games. Once it was held in New Zealand.

Guess Where I went for The holidays
I was dodging snowballs*, Throwing snowballs*, Making snowballs*, going on walks and sitting in the hot pools. ( And being the Catty in a game of golf **)

Being allowed to play computer games in school, sounds too good to be true.
Over 200 schools in the united kingdom are using minecraft, a popular computer game, to learn maths and make things they have written about.
Minecraft is a virtual world game in two modes: creative and survival and you have to fight monsters in survival.
