This books genre is science fiction because Uncle Albert sends his niece, Gendakan, into space with a thought bubble. It was written by Russell Stannard.

In this book...

Gendaken trys to finish a project on the theory of relativity but her uncle, Albert keeps sending her to space to do experiments. Then she gets the information she needs.

For my activity I am going to make uncle Albert a space licence.

ANZAC Biscuits

Today we made ANZAC biscuits. We added the dry ingredients. Then the liquid mixture. Then we made them into balls on a tray. Then we put them in the oven. We are waiting for them to cook.

Scooby Doo - Personal responce

This books genre is mystery / horror. I recommend the book for 7 to 8 year olds. It is another scooby doo book. I do NOT recommend it.

In This book... Scooby and the gang stay in a hotel and there is a vampire in the hotel. They make traps to try to catch the vampire.

For my Activity I am going to make a haunted castle. It will have secret doors.

Main star - choose something about ANZAC that interests you

For this main star I chose to do the name ANZAC. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps. They were going to be Australasian Army Core. Australasia is New Zealand and Australia put together. They were first officially called ANZACs at Gallipoli. I found out that in second world war and in the Vietnam war they were called ANZACs. 

Main Star - Own Choice

For my own choice main star I decided to make a molecule out of lolly bears and toothpicks. I chose caffeine because it had lots of different atoms in it. It also had ring bonds and double bonds in it. I color coded it so:

Orange = Carbon
Red = Hydrogen
Yellow = Oxygen
Green = Nitrogen

This is my final product. The double toothpicks mean double bonds. Each bear is one atom.

Minecraft challange

For homework, we had to make ANZAC cove in Lego or in minecraft. I made a mesa biome in minecraft. I built some trenches. I used iron bars as barbed wire. I made a blown up ship and made the water bumpy to look like explosions. I made landmines and ladders. The landmines blew up. I had burning areas where shells had hit the ground. I had ladders leading up the cliffs and a turret that fired arrows or fire charges. I also added explosions up the cliff. In shrapnel valley which I added there was 2 ambush stations and red poppies in the area when a group of soldiers was ambushed. I will add in a TNT gun and boats. At night in minecraft I will take photos and test out the TNT gun. It was fun making it!
