Cooking bacon and egg pie

Today for breakfast we had toast platter. The flavours were marmite, honey, jam and peanut butter. The toast platter was easy to make.

For lunch I made sushi. The flavours were tuna capsicum carrot, chicken capsicum carrot, tuna capsicum, chicken capsicum, tuna carrot, chicken carrot, chicken. These were the flavours. The best one was plain chicken.

For Dinner I cooked bacon and egg pie. Here is the recipe
1. crack about 8 eggs and whisk and put in tray.
2. slice up bacon and put in with the eggs
3. put pastry over tray and cook for half an hour
4. ENJOY

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious!
I learnt that it is harder than it looks to make dinner.

SALAD SHORTAGE!!

Today I cooked Haloumi cheese cakes and eggs. We also had leftover garlic (herb) bread from last nights WHITEBAIT and salads and herb bread. Badly we are already short on apples and carrots. last night I didn't have to cook because Poppa and My cousin Jaxon came and it would throw off my meal plan.

Percy Jackson and the titans curse

This books genre is adventure because Percy goes on a quest to find Annabeth and Artemis, goddess of the hunt, who have been captured by the titan lord, Atlas.

In this book, Annabeth and Artemis get taken by monsters and a quest is formed. On the quest the people brave huge danger, will they survive?

My favourite chapter is "The gods vote on how to kill me" it is very funny and very serious because after Thalia leaves half blood and joins the hunters...

SATAY CHICKEN:

Today I am making satay chicken. So far it is going great and everything is cooking great. This is the recipe:

1. Wash the potatoes and cut them up.
2. Put potatoes in oven tray and put in oven with chicken.
3. Cut up onions and garlic and fry them, put them in a blender and keep them to the side
4. To make the satay sauce, put peanut butter with oil and soya sauce and add stock cube in hot water with chutney and curry powder.
5. Put the onions in the satay mix and put in a pan.
6. Use the sauce to coat the chicken.
7. Dish up with potatoes and salad.
8. ENJOY!

Main stars - Make meals on weekly planner

Today I have been shopping at countdown (countback) grocery shop for my main star meal plan. The shopping went faster than I thought. Finally we finished shopping and had everything and we needed to wait for the checkout. About a week ago I made my meal plan and with everything, we predicted it was going to be close to $180 so that WAS MY BUDGET! I really wanted to know if I had made or broken my budget. Finally I found it out what the price was. It was... 171!!!! I had made my budget!!

That was easy, there was still cooking it...

On my plan, the first meal was, lemon pepper fish but we had to slightly modify because my fish was smoked salmon, so I decided that it would be with my peas and my potatoes. Right now the potatoes are cooking so I had the chance to do this blog post. Tomorrow is chicken...

Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters

This books genre is adventure because Percy Jackson, Annabeth and Tyson the Cyclops try to find the golden fleece, hidden on an island, deep in the sea of monsters, or as we call, the Bermuda triangle!


In camp half blood, there is huge danger, the magical pine tree, made after a fierce warrior was killed, which protects them has been poisoned and the camp threatens to be invaded by big monsters. The only thing that can help in the golden fleece and they go looking for it. They run into danger but is rescued by Clarisse, on an ironclad, sailed by skeleton confederates. They resume there journey but run into more danger...


My favourite part was the battle between Polyphemus the Cyclops, Percy and Tyson. Percy almost got hit with a huge olive tree. He said it would have turned him into a Percy pizza with extra olives. I also liked it when they steal blackbeards ship, Queen Anne's Revenge after escaping from the magician Circe.

In Christchurch

In the holidays Me, Dad, Billie and Mum drove to Christchurch. On the drive it snowed. We reckon it was awesome because it was basically sea level. On the first day we went to riccaton small (mall) for lunch. I had salmon and avocado sushi. In the evening we went to the rugby, Canterbury vs. Tasman. Tasman won 38 - 10. That was good. The next day we went to riccaton small and I had (better)salmon and avocado sushi. We went shopping for what felt like 3 years. It was probably 3 hours. we were going to go to the arcade but it was too busy. GOOD! Now I could go to the gem show. I had about 25 dollars to spend on gems. I wanted a cheap semi-precious stone. About halfway through I saw what I wanted:  an under-priced nice stone. Try to guess what it was: it was blue, in paint it is called ultramarine an amazing (and my favourite) shade of deep blue. If you guessed lapis lazuli you are right! Only 20 dollars! Tomorrow Billie will get her treatment and Mums eyes will be tested. The day after that we will go home. (I will miss the salmon sushi) Some more big news: Dad has a pod coffee machine which can make hot chocolate! to make things better it is avalanche: my favourite! I had one. They are SO chocolaty and rich (I want one!)
