At Sea Scouts we made stretchers. This is what we did to make our one.

1. arrange the sticks parallel to each other.

2. place some rope along the sticks and tie them together

3. get the injured person (Callan) on and you are ready!!!

Arthurs pass camp 2014

Camp

From Monday to Wednesday I was on camp in Arthurs Pass. It was great.

For book character day I went as Darth Vader from Revenge of the Sith

In the weekend I packed my bag for camp. It was pretty easy because I have most of the things because I went on camp with dad.

For my survival kit I would put an emergency blanket, a small map, two packets of scroggin, a compass and a small torch

Kiwi kids news-planet Mercury shrinking

NASA scientists have discovered that mercury is shrinking!!!!!

it has shrunk 4 miles since it was formed 4 billion years ago. That means that it shrinks 1 mile every billion years!!!!!

it happened because the planet has a solid core but it once it had a liquid core like earth but it shrunk because the core turned solid because it got colder.

First football game

In the weekend I played my first game of football. In the first half I am goalie for my team. we get the first goal but then the other team gets a free kick right next to the goal and I miss the ball by one centimeter! Then we get two more goals!

in the second half I am in defense and we get 5 more goals and then I was moved off and then put into midfield. The final result was 9-1 and we won the very very first game of the season!!!!!!

Kiwi kids News-Has the Loch Ness Monster been found?????

A satellite image might have proved that the loch ness monster could be real with one image. Here it is.

Could this be the loch ness monster?? I think so because of all the reports of the monster.

The reports were massive...

30 meters long.

10 meters wide.

I think that the monster is a Predator X and not an elasmosarus because it is too small.
